I have been part of Genesee Swim team since 2003, where I started off as an 8 and under swimmer. When I got to high school, I began to help out as an in-water swimmer coach for the team, and when I got too old to swim, I decided to help coach. I am now in my 13th year coaching for the team. I played basketball in college and, after graduation, I was given the opportunity to travel overseas to coach kids ages 6-18 in Vienna, Austria. I have been involved in coaching youth athletics for the past 15 years. While basketball occupies my time in the winter months, I always look forward to swim season in the summertime. This year I will have two of my own kids swimming on the team. I am extremely excited for swim season to begin. I am also very excited for all of our amazing assistant and swimmer coaches, our team wouldn't function without them.
