Congratulations to our League Qualifers!!

I am sending this email to all the families who have a child that met the League Meet Time Standard and are qualified to swim an individual event at the League Meet on Saturday, July 22nd.  Currently, we have 22 kids that have qualified for individual events.  Considering we have only had two swim meets, this is great!  I cannot wait to see that number grow.  In addition, Coach Andi is starting to think through relay entries.  Our team is allowed 2 legal relays per age group.  

Logistics

The League Meet will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at the Anderson Pool in Wheat Ridge.  We will follow the same order of events as our regular meets, but expect it to run all day.  The only difference is the 400 Frees will be held either Thurday night or Friday Morning at our Foothills Pool.  

Genesee is the "host" team this year.  As a result, we will need people to help set up, support selling merchandise, and fulfill a timing shift.  I am trying to keep our team responsiblities light, but we don't get a bye.

League Merchandise

A big thanks to Krista Prescott who designed this year's League Meet Logo.  We have launched a website for you to pre-order your League Merchandise.  This site will close on June 25th.  We are encouraging everyone to pre-order.  

Please note, while I will ensure we have items to sell on meet day, the color selection will not be as great, the prices will be more, and it will require more of us to oversee merchandise sales.
