I hope everyone is getting excited for the State Meet this weekend.  It is hard to believe we started the season 10 weeks ago.  Time flies when you are having fun!

Since our League is hosting the State Meet this year, our team is in charge of managing the ribbons and awards for this meet as well some deck marshalling.  We sill have NO timing responsibilities!!!  

For organizing the medals and ribbons for this meet, this job is similar to what we did at League.  We will receive batches of stickers, usually after each stroke event, that we will need place on place medals and ribbons and then placed in their team box.  

The medal and free relays have the largest number, since each relay swimmer can get a medal/ribbon.

1. For Individual Events: Medals are awarded for 1st to 8th place and Ribbons 9th -16th
2. Relay Events (each individual): Medals are awarded for 1st to 3rd place and Ribbons 4th -16th

I have opened up the SwimTopia Jobs.  With our team only bringing about 10 swimmers to State per day, we need everyone to sign-up for at least one shift.  Please note I have organized the sign-ups by day - Saturday being lower division and Sunday being upper division.  I have also created a final 30 minute slot at the end of the meet to sticker the Free Relays and Clean-Up.  (I have yet to hear what our deck marshalling responsibilities are... I will update the jobs once I know.)
