Please register as soon as possible so the Swim Team Board knows how many spots are available to extend to new non-Genesee Foundation residents. We have received a lot of interest from families who live in Genesee Village, Chief Hosa, Lookout, Evergreen and other neighboring communities, but can't register them until we confirm Genesee Foundation resident participation first to meet our Foundation requirements for facility usage. We hope to open registration to NEW non-Foundation residents starting in early April.

For registration, this year we hope to hire one more assistant coach due to the size growth of the team anticipated. Fees for Summer 2026 will be $325 per swimmer ($300 per additional swimmer sibling!).

In addition, due to the growing size and needs of the team, we will follow what others in our league are doing and require an up-front volunteer deposit of $400 per family. This will only be deposited if volunteer hours/expectations are not met per family. With a team the size of ours now, it takes a large collective effort to put on the meets (both home and away) and the ancillary events. This isn’t a lot (example per season: 2-3 timing sessions, one meet set-up, 1-2 event support like bake sale or bagel Fridays help). More details of roles and expectations will be announced, with sign-ups and trainings at the kick-off BBQ. It is one of the most fun ways to get involved and we need everyone’s help to put on an amazing season!

On an administrative note, for new members, once you register, an account will be created in our SwimTopia system. This will be the primary communication method of the team. You will begin to receive team-initiated emails from the Genesee Swim Team (via SwimTopia) email.

First Event: Information Night - Thursday, April 2

Annual information night and swimsuit try-on is Thursday, April 2 at 5pm at Vista Clubhouse: Parent board members and coaches will also be on-hand to welcome team members and answer any questions. Bring some friends or neighbors who want to learn more about GMT swim team or lesson program! All while enjoying some snacks and drinks and excitement for the warm weather around the corner!

Colorado Swim Shop will also be there to help find the right size for this year’s team swimsuit. We will be on year 2 of our existing 2-year suit – but you will be able to order one if needed. She will have samples to try-on to ensure you order the right size, and help facilitate ordering a suit.
